I am a Counsellor in private Practice in Godalming, Surrey and Weybridge, Surrey. I practice face-to-face and on Zoom with adult individuals aged 18 years upwards and couples. I work office hours and encourage potential clients to give me a call so that we can have a brief conversation about how best I may help you. There is no charge for this call.
My Godalming Practice is within easy reach of Guildford, Bramley, Camberley, Aldershot, and Farnham. My Weybridge Practice is close to Esher, Walton-on-Thames, Hampton Court, Thames Ditton, Shepperton, Chertsey and the surrounding areas.
I have a wealth of clinical and lived experience working with people from many different backgrounds. I worked in business environments for many years supporting senior management and clients and understand the stressors that can affect people personally and professionally. The information here will give you an insight into what counselling involves as well as the way that I work. Hopefully this will enable you to take the next steps in seeking some professional help and finding the right Counsellor to work with.
Sometimes life events can overwhelm us, and we can feel stuck and unable to find the way forward. At other times we just need someone who will really listen to us and treat us with respect. At these times talking to a professional can be helpful. It takes great courage to ask for help. The therapeutic relationship is different from other relationships because it is all about you, the client. I am pleased that you are considering whether counselling could help you. It is vital that a collaborative trusting relationship is built up which is supportive and non- judgemental. My hope in facilitating this process is to empower you and help you find resources within yourself.
I believe all people are unique and have intrinsic worth. Everyone’s life story is important, and I tailor the way I work to suit your needs – always sensitively and at your pace. I truly believe that it is possible to work through the struggles of life and come to a place of freedom where you are then able to live your life with renewed hope and vision.
I trained at Waverley Abbey College in Farnham, Surrey (validated by Roehampton University)
I attend professional workshops to enhance my knowledge and skillset. I also attend Supervision regularly both with my individual Supervisor and with two of my Peers.
